… you have reached the boulevard!

Biggest full moon

Tonight, we will witness the nearest full moon in 2010. The moon should appear very big and shiny today. More info here.

At 10 o’clock tonight, if you look at direction bearing 060 at 45 degree above horizon, you should be able to see the Mars too. But I think the bright light of the moon will diminish the redness of the Mars.

Happy star gazing tonight. When did you last star gazing?

Update:
This is a photo of the moon and the Mars taken by my friend, Mr Maslan (thank you).

Darren’s wedding

Today I attended Darren’s wedding reception. Congratulations to Darren and Christine.

I remember I met Darren when he was only 15 years old. I was doing a demo on Internet for a roadshow in his school (STK). He came to my booth and we talked about Internet. Then we agreed to form an Internet club called Kluang Internet Activities CyberStation.

Now, Darren is a pilot flying all over the globe.

I won a bag

I submitted a photo to “My Best Shot” column in Advanced Images Photography Magazine. The photo was chosen and was published in the magazine issue no. 46 (December 2009). I won a camera bag.

Thank you, Advanced Images Photography Magazine, for giving me a chance.

GPS device

At last I got my own GPS device. I always wanted a GPS device which uses a system where I can enter the coordinates of the locations I wanted to go.

gps1.jpg
First I Google Map the places I want to go and jot down the coordinates.

Key in and save the coordinates in the GPS device.

Haha…. hope I won’t get lost this time.
