Ovi Mail

I installed Ovi Mail on my Nokia 5800. I had disabled automatic email retrieval and email notification. But to my surprise there was a non-stop 3G connection on my phone. See picture 1.

I opened the data log and found that it was accessing GPRS through Maxis 3G MMS connection.

Until I find out what is going on, I uninstalled Ovi Mail from my phone first to avoid paying unnecessary charges.

    I was caught in the same situation b4, the connection is auto n so do d phone bill. It cost me quite a bit until I went to Digi to disconnect d GPRS service. beware!
