Japanese Haiku

It says:

Standing under the five-storey pagoda,
Sweet memories remain in my heart,
The years are still peaceful.

Echoes Of Dusk

In shadows deep where whispers fade,
The heart of man, once bright, betrayed.
A tapestry of kindness torn,
In silence, a world forlorn.

Once, laughter danced on sunlit streets,
Now, echoes of greed drown out the beats.
Compassion’s flame, a flickering light,
Fades in the chaos of endless night.

The bonds of trust, like fragile glass,
Shatter beneath the weight of the mass.
In pursuit of power, we’ve lost our way,
Trading our souls for a fleeting sway.

Oh, heed the warning, the signs are clear,
In apathy’s silence, we drown in fear.
For when love is lost and hatred thrives,
The end of our story is where darkness arrives.

So rise, oh hearts, from the ashes of doubt,
Rekindle the fire, let compassion sprout.
For in unity lies the strength to survive,
To reclaim our values, to truly revive.

Mismatch

In the park where visions clash,
A tapestry of life unfolds,
A pretty girl with laughter bright,
Beside a crude guy, brash and bold.

Her smile, a sunbeam in the shade,
His words, like thunder, loud and raw,
A mismatch painted in stark hues,
Love’s odd dance, a curious flaw.

Nearby, a wife with furrowed brow,
Scolding her husband, hands on hips,
Their love, a storm beneath the calm,
In whispered tones and heated quips.

An old man strolls with measured grace,
His cane a compass through the fray,
He walks in front of a woman lost,
In thoughts of youth, now far away.

And there, a father, proud and keen,
Follows his son on a tricycle ride,
Laughter echoes, wheels spin fast,
Innocence blooms, a joyful stride.

Each scene a snapshot, life’s collage,
Where mismatched visions intertwine,
In the park, a world unfolds,
A dance of hearts, both yours and mine.
