Le Tour de Langkawi came to Kluang again. I missed the event in 2008.

I waited with other photographers by the roadside at 11.15 a.m.

The traffic police blocked all the roads.

Kluang traffic came to a stand still for more than 1 hour.

There was a helicopter hovering above us.

Hey! This was not le tour de Langkawi. Where did he come from? Maybe he was the safety car… er… safety bike, to survey the circuit.

There! Here came the convoy cars. The cyclists should be approaching.

Another teaser bike passed by. Everyone clapped for him.

And then came the convoy motorcycles. Photographers got their gears ready.

Here came the pack leader. Everyone cheered for him.

Ready? Lock on. Shoot! Shoot!

They made a 90 degree turn in front of me.

Waited for 1 hour but they were gone in just 1 minute. Anyway, it was real fun.

It is worth it to wait if you are managed to get this such a good shot..i really want to have this kind of experience..nice shot cikgu..what lense are u using?

Abeku, I used the 55-250mm zoom lens. I thought I couldn’t get close to the road and needed to zoom from far. If I knew I were to sit by the roadside, I would have used the 17-50mm wider angle.

Tahniah ! Satu pengalaman yang tak dapat dilupakan. Tak sangka dapat shot dalam jarak yang sangat dekat, 3-5m je. Rasa macam Official photographer pulak.

Nice photo indeed. But the race caused 3 hours jam, i guess 😛
