My Badminton Journey

I started playing badminton as early as I can remember. My father, a Kluang champion, was also my first coach and greatest inspiration.

During my school years, I became the Paloh champion in both primary and secondary school. Those victories fueled my passion and gave me confidence to aim higher.

In teacher training college, I had the honor of representing the South Zone in a national-level competition – a proud milestone in my journey.

After completing my college, I continued to play actively in Kluang.

But after marriage, life took me in a different direction, and I stepped away from the sport I loved.

More than 15 years later, I reunited with friends and rediscovered the joy of badminton.

I even had the chance to play in my last PSKPP selection, closing a meaningful chapter in my sporting life.

Now, the time has come to retire completely from badminton. Though I may no longer step onto the court, the memories, friendships, and lessons from the game will always stay with me.
