… you have reached the boulevard!

Colour blind

Sometimes, it is really weird to know that the person who is taking photographs is actually colour blind, right? My colour blindness prevents me from editing colours in RAW and HDR. I rather let the camera makes the decision for me.

The above images are produced by Vischeck Colour Blind Simulator. My wife said the colours of my world are terribly dull. Then I know the colours of your world should be extremely exciting.

There were a few cases where colour blind made a blunder in my actions. When I was in Form 1, the school inspector came. As the class monitor, the teacher asked me to get his tie from his drawer. He told me there were two ties, one brown and one maroon. He asked me to take the brown tie. When I opened his drawer, I saw two ties of the same colour. I took one but it happened to be the maroon tie. When the inspector left, the teacher asked me to stand in front of the class and scolded me for playing tricks on him. I didn’t know I was colour blind. I felt very bad that I couldn’t see brown and maroon.

When I was in Form 5, I wanted to buy a blue pen but I accidentally bought a purple pen. I wrote my essay in purple and of course the next day I got the scolding from the teacher. My classmates called me “bodoh warna”.
