Filter or better not

Right after helping Darren in the restaurant, I rushed home because my daughter was waiting for me to cut her birthday cake.

Hey, look at the reflection of the candles on her face! I took off the clear UV filter and re-snapped the photo.

I have talked about this clear UV filter here and here. I think I should stop using it.

Happy belated birthday to your girl, she is now 7? If you look closely, she resemble exactly like you.

I have a filter (hoya, too) attached all the time. I don’t have the problem.

I m using the same filter and do get some UFO effect at times when there is sunlight at an angle right above and in front of my position.

However, i do get similar effects without the filter too.

But urs seemed to be abit more pronounced.

Till now, i m still as puzzled as you are.
